Jessica Alba thinks it is "cool" that H&M has made Versace accessible for the masses.
The Hollywood actress attended the launch of the affordable fashion range in New York last night.
The luxury label has teamed up with the high street retailer to offer a one-off collection of clothes for men and women as well as pieces for the home. There are patterned leggings, dresses made of leather featuring stud detailing and brightly-coloured skirts.
Jessica is delighted with the concept.
"I just think it's amazing that every girl gets to know what it feels like to wear Versace, how cool is that? It's an iconic brand," she is quoted as saying.
Jessica is renowned for her love of fashion, and regularly steps out on the red carpet looking ultra-glamorous.
The stunning star has recalled the first time she introduced Versace to her wardrobe.
"The first time I wore Versace I actually presented at the Oscars and I went over to Donatella's house and she, like, opened her closet," she explained.
"We talked about boys and we talked about kids and she is such a girls' girl."
Jessica wowed at the fashion event last night wearing a glittering black and gold number.
She was joined by a host of stars including Emma Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, Nicki Minaj and Debbie Harry.
Meanwhile, Donatella spoke about her new range. The Italian designer used the Versace archives for inspiration for the new line.
"There were a lot of requests for our iconic pieces from young people, so we did a collection for H&M," she revealed.
"[We used] Versace prints from before my brother died - I took them from the archive and did it for them [H&M]."
